Ive already lost track of the days! So I will title them a little more creatively the next blogs. I appreciate all of the comments from everyone and do check them when I get a chance.
This morning we woke up and had to leave our little bed and breakfast. SAD! But we were excited to see what else was in store for us.
We first visited the Opkyk Pathways sponsored by the Britts Club, where they use sensory, equestrian, creative, and all other sorts of therapies for mentally or physically handicapped children. It was very touching to see how passionate the teachers were. The students were adorable. They sang us a song that went...Baie Dankie for my mama, Baie Dankie for my papa, etc... Baie Dankie means thank you very much. It was very cute.
Next we went to a women's shelter where they house orphan children, their mothers, and people who have been found human trafficing.. It was heartbreaking to see the children :( But a good exerpience.
Next we met our representatives from the Rustenberg Club. They took us to their rotary lunch where we met a few more of the members and introduced ourselves. It was at a very nice country club.
Then we went home to our families. I'm staying with the Schild family for the next 2 days. They are very nice and have a beautiful home. Four dogs and a cat too! :) It curled right up on my bed and went to sleep :)
We had time to get ready and then we were off to the Pilanese Game drie at night. It was very cool. We got to have Savannah which is a South African cider on the drive. We saw some animals and stopped to have dinner in a little picnic area.
Thats about it for yesterday. I was exhausted so I went to bed around 9! Today were off to the platinum or chrome mines so more to follow :)
