So Day 3 started off extremely early.. I apologize for not having pictures on here yet but soon enough hopefully! We were up for 6am! Wow I know!  Glenn, Al, and Marge brought us to a Game Park. I would attempt at writing down the name of the place but Id probably get it wrong.  But we ate at this little lodge with eggs and pancakes overlooking the mountains.. So nice. Then Glenn took Joedi, Jaime, and I on a drive through the game park. We saw elephants, springboc (not sure how to spell it), giraffes, etc. We took lots of pictures! Then we went to Sun City which is a casino, hotel, all sorts of stuff. Very nice. Id like to stay there one day.

We did our first presentaton at the Britts club which I think went really well :) I let them know if they have beef and beer Id be just fine :)

On the way home Jaime and I made up a rap about one of the ladies that guided us name Marge.  Goes something like...
"Were in a car behind this architect named Marge, that lady is the boss, the girl's in charge " lol!

Lots of fun! We came back and went swimming and now a few of us our sitting around trying to Skype. Tomorrow we get to meet our first group of host families. A little nervous because well be separated but should be fun

Hi Team Nutmeg,
Thanks you keeping your blogs. I'm glad you are having such a great time and that you were well received at your first presentation. We in our district are following your experiences closely. I can't wait to visit South Africa and Botswana myself!
Today I received an email from my friend, Leone Jooste, who lives in the Pretoria area. As you may know, I have raised funds this year from Rotarians in Connecticut for a South African charity, which provides camping experiences for children with HIV/AIDs and cancer. The charity (the Just Footprints Foundation) just ran a weeklong camp in Kwalata, South Africa for these children, who were known for the week as Colin's Campers.
Best wishes.
Colin Gershon, District Governor

Hey Girl! The trip sounds really excititing so far :)
You ate lamb?! I knew you'd end up eating different stuff over there. Sounds like the places you are staying at are nice too, and I can't wait to see some pictures. Miss you already!

Have Fun!

Grumpo :)
